A Family-Friendly Stay at Westgate Resorts & Villas Town Center in Kissimmee, FL

Last week, we had the pleasure of staying at the Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort in

Kissimmee, FL, and it was an experience our family won’t soon forget! Located just a short drive from

Orlando’s famous theme parks, this resort offers everything you need for a fun, relaxing, and memorable

family vacation without leaving the property.

Spacious and Comfortable Accommodations

We stayed in a spacious Two-Bedroom Villa that felt more like a home than a resort. The villa had

two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a living room, a dining area, a balcony, and a washer and dryer. The ample

space meant that everyone had their own area to relax in—there was no need for the pull-out couch this

time (but they had one if you needed it)! The multiple TVs were lifesaving, ensuring no squabbles over

what to watch.

The kids absolutely loved having their own bedroom and bathroom, which gave them a sense of

independence and space. Meanwhile, I found myself particularly grateful for the fully stocked kitchen and

in-unit laundry—both of which made our stay that much more convenient and comfortable.

On-Site Fun for the Whole Family

One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible range of activities on the resort grounds. Despite

being so close to Disney and other attractions, we found that we didn’t need to venture out much at all!

The on-site waterpark was a significant hit with the kids. It wasn’t crowded, so they could go on the

waterslides as often as they wanted. Watching them splash around while I enjoyed a refreshing drink and

a lap around the lazy river was pure bliss.

And that’s just the beginning! Westgate Resorts also offers multiple on-site restaurants, pools, mini golf, a playground, ice skating, and more. The kids were never bored, and there was always

something new to explore. When a sudden thunderstorm cut our waterpark time short, the kids had a

blast soaking in the villa’s jacuzzi instead—an unexpected treat that turned a potential disappointment

into a fun memory we will all remember.

Dining at Westgate Resorts

Foodies, rejoice! You don’t have to go far for delicious meals at Westgate . We decided to dine at Los

Amigos Mexican Grill, the on-site Mexican restaurant, which was a fantastic choice. The fajitas and

nachos were flavorful and satisfying, with portions so generous that we could have easily shared them

with friends. The relaxed atmosphere and tasty food made it a perfect spot for a family dinner.

Even after dinner, the fun didn’t stop. We indulged in some late-night shopping, grabbed a pizza, and

enjoyed some ice cream—all without leaving the resort. This convenience made our stay so much more

enjoyable, as we could unwind and enjoy our vacation without the hassle of constantly trying to find

somewhere to get food. If Mexican isn’t your favorite, they also have Drafts Sports Bar & Grill, or Villa

Italiano Chophouse for other on-site options!

Final Thoughts

Our stay at Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort exceeded all our expectations. From the

spacious villa that felt like a home away from home, to the endless on-site activities and dining options,

everything was designed to make family vacations as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Whether

you’re looking for a base to explore Orlando’s theme parks or a destination in itself, Westgate Resorts

has something for everyone.
